Here are all the materials you need: Aleens spray tacky glue, E-6000 glue, Modge Podge, 1" circle cutter, your images I got mine from http://www.etsy.com/shop/LandofEnchantment, your bezels/ blanks, and your glaze or resin, I got my blanks and glaze from http://www.etsy.com/shop/theglassconnection . I used daimond glaze.
Step 1: spray your images with the tacky glue spray to keep your ink from smudging and bleeding. Let dry for 30 minutes.
Step 2: Select an Image and use your circle cutter to punch it out.
Step #3: Use your E6000 glue and make sure you don't use to much and that you go all the way around the inside of the pendant so that that it doesn't bubble when you fill with glaze. Allow glue to dry for 24 hours for best results.
Step #4: After you have allowed your glue to dry you may choose to apply one or two coats of Modge Podge, this will further help to avoid the ink on the image from running. I reccomend using it on dark or black inked images. Allow your Modge Podge to dry for about an hour.
Step #5: Now we are ready to fill with our glaze or resin. Follow directions on wichever product you prefer to use they are all different. I use Daimond Glaze. I am carefull not to shake the bottle before I use it, nothing can ruin your project like a giant air bubble! I usually have to apply a second coat of glaze after 48 hours of drying for a better more "filled" look. If you get an air bubble you can pop it with a toothpick or thumb tack, if it doesn't pop right away try to move it around a little.
TIP: my number one tip is BE PATIENT! It took me about 6 of these to finally get it right. It seems an easy project, and it is, but you have to allow sufficient time to dry. NO shortcuts! if the glue doesn't dry all the way it will bubble.
Here are some bottle caps I am making into key chains. I got my bottle caps from http://www.etsy.com/shop/BottleCapSupply and my vintage style images from http://www.etsy.com/shop/HotTomatoInk.
